CHECK LIST FOR PARENTS

-- How to have a successful school year:
  • Have a positive attitude toward school.  Encourage your child to come to school with the right attitude for learning.
  • Wear the appropriate attire.  Children MUST wear a school uniform to school.  Please see the uniform policy.  Children who do not wear the appropriate clothing will be subject to disciplinary action.
  • Bring the proper school supplies to class.  Each child is sent home with a list of school supplies on the first day of school.  Please be sure your child comes prepared with the appropriate school material.
  • Get involved.  Become an involved parent.  Help your child with their homework.  Ask your child questions about school, his friends, her interests, and get to know your child's teachers.
  • Attend parent/teacher conferences, and if you have a concern contact your child's teacher by note or phone (610) 623-7900.
  • Children should either come to school with their lunch or $1.60 to buy lunch.  If you are eligible for free/reduced lunch, you MUST complete a NEW application each school year prior to receiving this service.
  • Children should be on TIME (excessive lateness may result in truancy action).  School begins at 8:30 and children should report to their homerooms no later than 8:30.
  • Children should attend school EVERY DAY.  There are only three reasons for excused for absences: CHILD'S ILLNESS, DEATH IN THE FAMILY, or a RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY.  All other absences are considered unexcused and excessive unexcused absences and/or tardiness may result in truancy action.   PLEASE SEND A NOTE WITH ALL ABSENCES addressed to the SCHOOL ATTENDANCE OFFICE.
